Figure Friday Challenge – Behind the Scenes Break Down of “Never Alone” Figure… 2

Figure Friday Challenge – Behind the Scenes Break Down of “Never Alone” Figure Photo

I've forgotten how difficult it is to document my behind the scenes. When I realized I forgotten to document them I had to back step to get shots/screens

Long version with some detailed steps on photo and Photoshop techniques I used and more photos/screenshots at my blog:
http://wp.me/p1qw15-xaD

(there's about 8 pages stuff but it's broken down in easier to read segments)

I'll leave the short version below for G+:

— Deciding on a theme and pre-planning: Spend two to three days to decide a theme, initial figure selection for subject, and a web search for photography techniques I have not tried that's somewhat viable with my gear. Find several background photos with the proper point of view.

–Photographing the figures matching the background's lighting.

–Proofing the photos and initial cut.Export images out of Lightroom as JPEG.

–Import JPEG files into Photoshop layers via Adobe bridge.

–Photoshop techniques/filters used: Focus Stacking, Masking, Color Selection, Drop Shadows, Flatten layers but keep them, lens blur, Color Matching, clone/spot healing for dust removal.

Figure Friday Challenge – Attire 6

Started the beginning of the week with a Genshiken figure in mind. However the overall results from wasting Friday night shooting led to recreating a King of Fighter's scene.

Since +清水慎一's Binchou-tan photos and +Sean Bires's comment on a need for more diorama for figures. I tried to with my poor PS skills to do a photo composition of Mai Shiranui. Her iconic attire does lead one to think of the KOF series…. I'm probably rambling on now….
