Perusing through my shots, I noticed I haven't done many macro shots. Decided to do one for Momohime.

This took a lot longer than I had intended.
* Stacked focus to get the face and her hair pins to be in focus.
* Complete repaint of her eyes since the reflection was incorrect for this shot. (those who have her can check the eyes ~.^)
* Added iris highlights, dodging and burning
* other goodness….

Going for a little flair with Ignis' intricate and flowy dress design and a very busy background utilizing my home made bokeh kit. If you focus towards the bottom half you should see the background as heart shaped but it wasn't working the way I liked it given the distance.

I wanted to shoot a little more with her. Sadly she had a bad tumble afterwards and ended up a little like Humpy Dumpy (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Humpty_Dumpty). Waiting for the glue to dry now…

Redo – Figure Friday – Mini World

Accidentally deleted the original post… but I reworked the tilt shift after some feedback.

Been wanting to use Momohime for some time for a shot but never had an idea to use with her.

So ended up using a mini world to sum up Momohime's origins. The game is just unfolding a story that has long since occurred; a world isolated from our own.

Wanted to go for a plastic, tilt shifted, model world for this composite rather than try a realistic one since this is referencing a game world.
