Been a while since I've done a composite. I was teasing this a few weeks ago (https://plus.google.com/+FrancisHuang/posts/Bvjd2pdK7Pg). I normally don't take so long but time has not been on my side to work on composites.
I was finally given an Asuna Figma this past Christmas to compliment my Kirito Figma. The idea for couples / pairings has been stuck in my head, but pairings are a bit difficult personally since I struggle to give poses that create such interactions. Here's hope for more pairings whether they're couples, friends, companions, weapon partners, items, food stuff…
Nevertheless Enjoy.

Maybe get inspired by the Karma Sutra. Following hentai cannon of course.
+Meng Shen Limββ a tad much on the health related side at this time ^^; My struggle with posable figures are to make a natural looking interaction. Recently found out that eye contact is important otherwise it doesn't mesh well generally
Such a nice softness to the photo. And eye contact, even in figures, is really important, and hard to get right π
+wara zashiβ saw a documentary on why Who Framed Roger Rabbit worked. Mainβ thing I took away was eye contact. They had the actor setup scenes where the toon and actor eye contact would meet. That eye contact definitely adds to the photo narrative.
This shot with Kirito and Asuna was about 15-20 different shots, lighting, and angles before working on the composite background which was 3 separate photos with completely different color tones. I'm reminded why a single figure is easier for me personally.
This is very nice work.
