Been ages since I've played volleyball but I do enjoy it. It's nice to see an anime adaptation of the sport.

I find as I get older I tend to enjoy the drama types more. The main draw here is that there was a complete set of characters with flaws, how they dealt with it, and their journey through the eyes of the protagonist.
Now there are the typical tropes here but the protagonist here has two points of view which adds enough of a twist to keep me engaged and reading the light novels.
