Figure Friday – Mystery 1
Rather early this week ^^;
Decided to do a macro shot with my relatively new macro lens. I wonder how many people can guess the figure?

Nexus 5 2
Gave in and got another phone. S2 with a United Rom was great but the hardware was showing its age. I got the Nexus 5 and hardware wise its great with KitKat and set it to use ART instead. (Early ART versus Dalvik benchmarks on a Nexus 5)
Rom is still stock but while it's a great overall phone, I miss some features when I had the custom rom:
– reboot menu
– Clicking on location within Calendar automatically brought my maps up
– being able to disable mobile data from the quick menu with a long press on the mobile icon.

Figure Friday – Pairs 2
Been a tad rusty since I haven't really shot anything for a few weeks. Wanted to do a Yin Yang kind of photo but finding curves near me and work didn't pan out after reviewing my shots.
Using Tenjo Tenge (天上天下 ) figures since it seems to fit (heaven and earth). Tried flour and hot coco mix for contrast and for the pairs theme. Shot once on eye level but it didn't look good. So I used another angle and somewhat salvaged it.
