Goodbye Graphire, Hello Intuos 4

Updating my drawing tablet tech

I originally used an ancient well aged Wacom Graphire 3 drawing tablet for my initial drawings and photo cleanups until this week. Wacom recently released their latest line of Intuos 5 tablet I decided to check the prices on the Intuos to make my wallet thank me a little. So this week I procured an Intuos 4 drawing tablet pictured above to help decrease my drawing/color time needed for my doodles or Latentidle comic.

Below is a shot of my Graphire 3 before I shelve it for recycling. As you can tell, I worked my Wacom Graphire 3 to the grave…. ^^;

Makes sense to set root access as disabled from a security standpoint

I typically set Root access to off after getting my apps set in my Nook.

The Perils of MMO

Which is more evil?

Which is more evil? The game or the dark side pushing you on?

Happy Friday everyone! Another happy weekend and more time to game! I’ve been back in Guild Wars for the past three weeks now and it almost feel like there’s a death grip of love for MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game) upon me. I feel for the gamer in this week’s strip. The MMO games do a wonderful job immersing you into the world and your character. Sometimes I wonder who that other voice is on the left side of the strip is doing if the game does a better job.

After reading about Blizzard's firm release date for Diablo III 2

I went back to see Guild Wars 2 difference between the collectors edition / Digital version / Standard…

Then I got to the system requirements…that's a hefty amount of disc space given the amount of storage I have in my box. I have the space but I like to keep that for media and my raw photo files. Perhaps it's time to upgrade storage but the price for HD are still pretty steep from the flood in Thailand in late 2011. My poor poor wallet.
