Been seriously lagging on drawing

I need a little structure to improve my skills since I'm not entirely happy with the long process it takes for me to get a comic up. Ordered http://www.jlist.com/product/ART001 to go back to the basics. Hopefully improving basics will give me some insights to improve my speed and art to get it to a better level.

The black and whites I tend to churn out in a week but I tend to sacrifice some details I want to place in the strip.

This one turned better than expected but took me two weeks to complete (whatever spare time I had after work) since I tend to take Waaaaay more time for color palette consideration.
